General Machinist

Gyptech is seeking a General Machinist to join our team at our newly upgraded manufacturing facility. 

Skill Requirements

  • Must have experience running lathe and milling machines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong communication skills - Fluent in English
  • Ability to read AutoCAD and Inventor prints
  • Must work well with others and within a team environment
  • Ability to organize work under project deadline constraints

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating machine tools such as engine lathes, CNC lathes, CNC machining centers, and milling machines
  • Machining steel work pieces in accordance with drawings
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications

Qualifications

  • Industrial Machinist Trade Certificate (430A or 429A) and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience.

Control Systems Specialist

Gyptech is seeking a Control Systems Specialist within the Electrical Engineering & Controls team.

Electrical Engineer

Gyptech is seeking an Electrical Engineer to research and design control panels & automated control systems within the Electrical Hardware Design team.

Skill Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of EPLAN (version 2.0 or above) and/or AutoCAD Electrical software for design and development of industrial electrical projects and documentation is a must
  • Knowledge of Electrical Codes - NFPA79, NEC, CEC, CSA and IEC/EN as well as Panel Design Standard UL5 08A is an asset

Mechanical Engineer

Gyptech is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering Team.

Skill Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in mechanical design and 3D modelling. 
  • Heavy machinery design, installation or maintenance would be an asset.
  • Fabrication or Commissioning experience would be an asset.
  • Bulk material handling/process knowledge would be an asset. 

Responsibilities

  • Participating in all phases of the design, development, and implementation of our equipment and systems.
  • Developing machine concepts and detailed designs in Autodesk Inventor. This may include plant layouts, board handling equipment or bulk material handling equipment. Includes both original equipment design as well as the integration of Gyptech equipment with purchased equipment from vendors.
  • Researching and analyzing requirements and technical specifications to satisfy the end-user
  • Interfacing with customers, vendors and managers to determine project scope, requirements, deliverables, budget, costing and schedules.

Gyptech is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support domestic and trans-border logistics.  

Skill Requirements
